The Hong Kong Society of Nephrology was established since 1979. It is a non-profit making professional organization consisting of doctors, nurses and other allied health staff who are interested in renal diseases.
The BC Kidney Days 2017 organized by the BC Provincial Renal Agency (BCPRA) was held in Vancouver, Canada on 5-6 October 2017. Prof. Richard Yu, Prof. Sydney Tang, Dr. YL Cheng and Dr. Bonnie Kwan represented the HKSN to attend the meeting. Prof Tang gave a plenary lecture on the Blossoming of PD in Hong Kong, and Dr Cheng gave one on Developing a Home Hemodialysis Program in Hong Kong
